PROJECT: TUG BOAT UPGRADED TO FIFI 1
INSTALLATION ITEMS: New Pump 2400m3/h with two monitors 1200 m3/hr each
FIFI, an acronym for “Firefighting,” denotes the vessel’s capability to combat onboard fires effectively. With FIFI 1 notation, our tug boats are now equipped with state-of-the-art firefighting equipment and systems, meeting the highest international standards set by classification societies.
The modification process involved a comprehensive overhaul of the tug boats’ firefighting infrastructure. This included the installation of powerful pumps, high-capacity water monitors, foam systems, and advanced fire detection and suppression technology. Additionally, crew members underwent rigorous training to operate the upgraded firefighting equipment proficiently.
